This was our last trip with just the two of us. Three counting our dog. We went to visit Veneto in June 2021. As per usual, we loved it. Italy is always a good idea. We booked a farm stay Le Colombare. It was a huge rice-growing estate dating back to 1700. The back garden with a pool was epecially lovely. We visited Verona and Mantua close by. The day trip to Lake Garda was also great. On our way back we spotted the town of Soave and ascended its Scaligeri Castle. A lunch and a stroll around Treviso was our final stop before heading back home.
